i texted her, "how was your day today?" and she sent me a 7 minute voice note telling me everything..

This Georgia Bulldogs batter, Tre Phelps, was ejected after he hit a go ahead home run against Liberty in the NCAA Regional Final game in Athens.
Phelps homered and has he starts to run the bases, the home plate umpire felt that he was taunting the Liberty dugout and he continued to celebrate all the way around the bases.
You can see some Liberty players ask him โwhat are you doing?โ
I guess the umpire had seen enough.
Georgia Head Coach Wes Johnson was also thrown out for arguing Phelpsโ ejection.
Many people said he was waving to his family and said it didnโt matter, that he should be allowed to celebrate and that you canโt eject a player for that.
Others said they were glad he was ejected and that there is no place in the game for this type of behavior- taunting the other team.
If I was his coach I would have been livid at him for acting that way. Respect the game, respect the players and act like you have been there and just play the game. Quit the theatrics.
What do you think? Do you think the umpire was justified in ejecting him or do you think he had a right to celebrate?
