They say that I want people to attack me, when I should be covering the event. I do not want this.

But even if I did, even if I showed up and intentionally disagreed with them - and they attacked me - doesn’t that highlight a problem?

I should be able to ask any question, say any opinion and express myself however I want on a public sidewalk. I should be able to walk wherever I want and interact with whoever I want without fear of retaliation from violent uncivilized animals who have taken over and begun acting as a de-facto violent thought police on our streets.

I never touch anyone, I never attack anyone, and I never use physical force unless it’s absolutely necessary to protect my body.

Local police refuse to maintain order and prevent the violence in our streets. Mainstream media outlets don’t air the violence. All right wing independent media is bullied and intimidated out. The left wing independents don’t air the violence.

This leaves only a few honest non-biased independents (like @ScooterCasterNY), who in my opinion don’t get as much credit as they deserve showing what’s actually going on.

That’s why I do what I do, because I feel it important that there’s as much sunlight on the situation as possible. I do not *want* to be attacked - but I’m also not going to run away when they try to intimidate me.

I will remain in the streets, I will keep coming. I will keep filming, and I will keep asking questions.

@taliaotg It’s amazing how you can’t see why. Just the sight of someone who doesn’t look like that sends the “protesters” into full on riot mode. Average people walking by are being attacked for simply not wanting to get involved. So yeah a disguise is necessary to even be there.
