@Namtoshi69@WatcherGuru Tariffs are not a new thing. It is how we made a majority of our income before taxes. Please look up the history books before you say stuff. And no prices at stores did not skyrocket. And I live in California, these idiots look for any excuse to raise prices on everything.
If you're:
Building in ops tech, casino tech, or industrial IoT
A founder looking for someone who ships fast
Or just curious how it works
Let's talk. DMs open.
I'm a US Air Force veteran turned solo AI engineer.
I build things because problems bother me. CasinoOps went from concept to live pilot at River Rock Casino in 24 hours — during a graveyard shift.
FloorOps is live at https://t.co/zrcXDCulaR
GitHub: https://t.co/tQQICgUdTo
Door open → Pi detects it → POST to FloorOps API → machine status updates instantly on the floor map.
No manual logging. No sensors touching the licensed equipment. Fully non-invasive.
Pending regulatory approval when the casino moves to its new building next summer.
The full stack:
Next.js 14 + TypeScript
PostgreSQL on AWS RDS
Real-time polling architecture
Anthropic Claude API for AI briefings
PM2 on EC2 behind Nginx
SSL via Certbot
Built and deployed to production in 48 hours. Solo.
When a tech ends their shift, Claude generates an AI briefing automatically.
Plain English summary of everything that happened, what's still open, what the incoming team needs to know.
Then exports a PDF shift report matching the casino's exact format.
The machine registry holds casino-specific data no generic asset tracker has:
Asset number
Bank number
Game name & brand
Progressive type
Denomination
Software version
Bulk CSV import for onboarding 860 machines at once.
Tech logs a down machine on their shift → machine turns red on the floor map instantly.
Supervisor opens their browser from anywhere — back office, break room, their phone — and sees exactly which machine is down, who logged it, and when.
No radio calls. No walking the floor.
So I built FloorOps.
A real-time floor operations command center for casino floors and skilled trades.
100x70 interactive grid. Every machine on the floor. Live status updates every 10 seconds.
🟢 Online 🔴 Offline 🟡 Warning 🔧 Active shift task
The problem:
860 slot machines on a casino floor. When one goes down, the tech has to physically walk the floor or wait for a radio call.
Supervisors have no real-time visibility. Customers wait 40+ minutes with no one coming.
I knew there had to be a better way.
I work graveyard shift as a casino slot tech.
This weekend I built a full floor operations platform from scratch and deployed it to production.
Here's what happened in 48 hours 🧵
Graveyard shift ends at 7am.
By noon — smart contracts deployed to Base Sepolia.
By midnight — a full AI legal product, live with an integrated AI attorney.
I work nights at a casino. I'm also a solo AI engineer and founder.
