@DVanLangenhove If Belgians are one of those protected groups, then isn't it a punishable offensive if someone generates a "general attitude of disapproval" towards Belgians by bringing up their colonial past with Congo?
@karch_andreas Very interesting indeed. Are some proper fall-off conditions assumed such that the dressing asymptotically goes to 1 and the asymptotic vacuum is defined with respect to that of the bare operator?
@ThomasVanRiet2 A packed schedule with 6-7 talks a day isn't very stimulating. Especially when the topics can be rather diverse throughout the same day.
Paper alert:
In the final of the three-parter we provide a more detailed exposition of our claims made earlier this year, expand upon it with degenerate spectra and more, and thus finalise the case for 1-dimensional reference frames and groups.

We show that the recent developments regarding implementing constraints to build the type II crossed product in gravity can be understood from the perspective of linearisation instabilities.
@zeithistoriker This is not the full audio excerpt I believe. They were talking about nuclear energy and the "not scary part" refers to the workings of a nuclear reactor.
@pfsmet @BenWeyts Hopelijk komt de Engelstalige master er eindelijk na jaren. Studenten hoeven dan geen test meer te doen voor buitenlands applicaties; en hopelijk zorgt dit voor een instroom van o.a. Erasmus-studenten. Nederlands blijven lijkt me een puristisch argument.
@martinmbauer The question remains whether this is a result of
1.) Not enough effort in SciComm;
2.) People don't want to sit down and read a 15min article;
3.) Most listen to the loudest voices who turn out to not know much about the topic.
@NikoSarcevic It's unusual for a Master's student to publish their work/thesis in their last year, at least in Europe. However, they have to compete with US students who have had countless internships/conference proceedings/papers already. Why not take a student like https://t.co/LSDGgF7HEF
