I just took a PickMe three-wheeler to near Havelock City Mall. As soon as he accepted the hire, he called and asked whether it was card or cash. I said card. Then he asked me to switch it to cash. I said no, I only had card.
On the way, he kept complaining, saying things like, “Card payments are troublesome, the money gets delayed,” and so on. I told him I was using a card provided by my office. I actually had cash with me if he had asked politely, I would’ve agreed and paid in cash. But he was acting in a pushy way.
Then when we reached the drop-off point, he suddenly seemed in a big hurry and said, “Get down quickly, I can’t stop here.” I told him to end the trip. He said, “Okay, okay, get down, I’ll do it,” but as soon as I got down, he left without ending the trip. I tried to end it from my side, but I couldn’t. I could see on the app that he was still driving around.
So I switched the payment option to cash. After about 10 minutes, he started calling me. I didn’t answer. I could see he had come back to where I got down and was looking for me while calling. I still didn’t answer any of the calls.
After about 15 minutes, I finally answered. He said, “You’re quite something said card and then switched to cash.” I told him, “You’re the one who didn’t end the trip.” He claimed he had ended it and that maybe it was an app issue. I said maybe the same issue caused it to switch to cash on my side too.
Then he asked for the amount that showed up when he finally ended the trip. I told him I’d pay the amount shown on my side otherwise there’s nothing I can do. In the end, after wasting time going around, missing a few hires, and searching for me, he accepted a lower amount and left.
At least now, he probably won’t try pulling that kind of stunt like not ending someone’s trip again.
Copied and well done bro 👌😂😂
How dare Jews come to Sri Lanka and have restaurants with name boards in Hebrew and Menus in Hebrew and reserved for Jews? This is a cancer that needs to be removed immediately if our President has a back bone.

In 1997, Julia Hill climbed a 200-foot 1000-year-old Californian redwood tree and did not come down for 738 days to prevent Pacific Lumber Company loggers from cutting it down.
She ultimately reached an agreement with the company to spare the tree and a 200-foot buffer zone surrounding it.

Hall of Fame boxer Sugar Ray Robinson once backed out of a fight because he had a dream he was going to kill his opponent in the ring.
However, after being convinced by a priest, he agreed to fight. He knocked Jimmy Doyle out cold, who was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead the next day.
After Jimmy Doyle's death, Robinson found out about how Doyle wanted to use the money earned in the fight to buy his mother a home. So Robinson saved the money from his next four fights to buy Doyle's mom a house.
Gavi’s going to be such a monumental miss for Barça, I genuinely cannot overstate his significance.
We’re talking about the one player that makes us tick, invaluable in the biggest of games, we’ve basically lost the heart of our midfielder.
