I really liked parts of this movie, it was hopeful and colourful, similar tone to the Richard Donner version.
But the pacing was off, The Daily Planet was an after thought and Superman didn’t feel like the main character in amongst all the Lex and JG stuff.

I really liked this movie, it was suitably bleak and violent. The best Sally Hawkins performance I’ve seen for a while but I wish the mythology in the movie wasn’t so vague.
