Shah Ahmadi was born in Iran and memorized the entire Quran by the age of 13. He became one of the country's top engineers, living a life of prestige and success.
Everything changed when he witnessed something he was never supposed to see at a petrochemical factory. The Iranian government investigated and interrogated him, then gave him a choice: leave Iran or be killed. He fled across the snow-covered mountains into Turkey.
Although he escaped, he had no peace. He turned to drinking and smoking, but nothing filled the emptiness. Then someone told him, "Come to Him as you are. He loves you as you are. He will wash you clean."
He attended a Christian worship service, encountered the presence of God, and gave his life to Jesus Christ. Over the next eight months, he compared the Bible with the Quran and became convinced that Jesus is Lord.
Meanwhile, back in Iran, Jesus appeared in dreams and visions to eight of his family members at different times and in different places, even though no one had told them about Him. Jesus also appeared to his mother, called her by name, "Mary," and told her to give two white papers to her children.
Five hours later, a friend who had known the family for five years arrived at their home carrying a Persian Bible. He said Jesus had spoken to him that morning, telling him, "Take My Word to this house. They are ready." That day, Shah Ahmadi's entire family gave their lives to Jesus.
Today, 32 members of his family are part of the underground church in Iran, risking their lives to follow Christ.
TERROR ALERT – July 1, 2026
Equipping The Persecuted has received credible information indicating that the Islamist Fulani Ethnic Militia may be preparing coordinated attacks against Christian communities in Benue and Plateau States.
Communities believed to be at greatest risk include Agatu, Guma, Otukpo, and Ohimini LGAs in Benue State, as well as vulnerable communities in Jos South and Barkin Ladi LGAs in Plateau State.
According to credible information received from multiple ground sources, militant fighters have reportedly been mobilized from several northern states, and preparations for a large-scale offensive may already be underway.
We urge Christian communities, local leaders, village security teams, churches, and the Nigerian security services to remain on the highest level of alert and take immediate precautions to protect vulnerable civilians.
Equipping The Persecuted has repeatedly issued advance warnings that have preceded deadly attacks. We pray these warnings are acted upon before more innocent lives are lost.

Today in Rome, I could see different government delegates from other countries, including China and Singapore, right here to support their students for International STEM Olympiad.
No single government delegate from Nigeria.
Is this how much our government abhors education?
You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world.
And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK.
To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3.
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that?
Then I realized I was the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.
And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.”
He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself worthy of God.
Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy.
The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord.
His name is Egejurum Onyedikachi, and he is a genius.
Let that sink in.
He is in Primary 6 but does wonders with mathematics that make SS3 students tremble.
The world will know him and celebrate him.
He is currently with me in Rome to challenge champions from other countries this Saturday.
A group of Muslim men in Dearborn, Michigan are seen searching for a Christian man who they believe disrespected there religion.
Nick Shirley investigates as a man is openly hunted for having a religious disagreement.
"Ill kill him. Ill Murder him."
When I was Muslim, I never understood why the Bible spent so many chapters on a tent in the desert. The tabernacle. Endless boring detail.
Then someone walked me through it, and I couldn’t unsee it.
There was only ONE door into the whole structure. One way in. Jesus said, “I am the door.” John 10:9.
The first thing you hit inside was an altar where something died. You couldn’t get to God without passing the place of sacrifice. The cross stands between you and the Father.
Then a basin of water for washing. “Unless one is born of water and the Spirit…” John 3:5.
Then light, bread, and finally God’s presence behind the veil.
Every single piece was Jesus. The door, the sacrifice, the washing, the light, the bread, the presence.
You know what shook me?
God gave Israel a 3D blueprint of His Son 1,500 years early and had them carry it through the desert.
They were camping around a picture of Jesus and didn’t know it.
Islam told me it was old ritual.
It was a portrait, stitched in fabric and gold, waiting for the face to arrive.
That face? CHRIST JESUS.
One day, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
That includes you, me, and every person who has ever lived and ever will live.
No one will be denying Christ that day.
