Rahul Gandhi deserves credit for bringing the Ankita Bhandari case back into the spotlight. A flash visit can grab headlines; the challenge is for us in the media to ensure those headlines don’t fade before justice is done. Will Ankita’s parents finally get answers? And will those allegedly influential enough to evade scrutiny ever be held accountable?

IDBI Bank, Economics Textbooks, Privatization & the Fairfax Debate and Bad loans

For generations of economics students like me, IDBI was not just a bank. It was a symbol of India's state-led development model.

Serious questions.
This could open a new chapter in the ECI saga.

When I was in Tihar jail, An SP from UP had come down to Tihar to interogate me with one of the FIR, During interrogation, He said, I've been following your facebook parody page since 2015 and Loved your Satire. Most of the police men I interacted when in Jail said, Media bikau hai. And that they only follow @ravish_journo and a few said @dhruv_rathee.

This should make us all ashamed!

Ankita Bhandari’s parents don’t deserve such inhuman treatment. Why is the govt treating its own citizens with such cruelty?

The gov is not transparent on valuations method for d the stake sale to Fairfax. Fairfax already has substantial holding in one small pvt bank and thereby might have conflict of interest. Why Kotak backed out of the deal? Under whose pressure? The whole deal is not transparent

Someone made this exact comment on a popular Instagram page that posta Kolkata photos and reels. Guess what they responded? Come to Park Street! Imagine the level of discourse

This is just the beginning, ultimate aim is systemic annihilation of Durga Puja as we know it

I used to idolise @VishnuNDTV in my teens. But I think he has now turned into a rabid dog like others at ndtv. Nevertheless this clip was one of the most satisfying thing I’ve ever seen in X. NDTV should introspect big time

[sohom @AwaaraHoon]

South Kolkata is one of the prime spots of Durga Puja. It used to be full of ads, lights and lively vibes during this period. But currently many places still have empty hoardings and area being dark & gloomy as we are about to hit Panchami. What is even happening!!??!!

The @GoWestBengal_ led by ex-CEO Vote Chor is telling its lawyers to lie in court. I have never in my 18 years of political life had a PSO, guard or any security. How can a senior official like Director of Security lie in court?
