Don Kelly's first move as manager was firing the game planning and strategy coach. Derek Shelton was frequently accused of using predetermined decisions - which some said were influenced by the front office. Now the knives are out for Kelly for not making a traditional call.

When the lead-off batter hits a double, you take him out of the game! Especially when the next guy is a LH batter.
