I’ve been looking at a Roman bridge on Watling Street (west) close to the village of Acton Burnell in Shropshire one of only 10 such sites left in the UK, the Historic Englands at risk register has the site listed as being in a very bad condition which isn’t a good sign I hope funding is found to preserve this incredible bit of Roman engineering.
