🇪🇺 The EU just passed Chat Control 1.0 in Brussels.
Platforms can now scan your private messages again, officially "voluntary," in practice blanket surveillance.
Here's the democratic scandal: 314 MEPs voted against it. Only 276 voted for it.
It passed anyway... because an absolute majority of all MEPs was required to reject it, not just a majority of those present.
More people voted no than yes. It still passed.
Pushed through on an urgent procedure just before summer recess, when absences are highest and attention is lowest.
This is how rights disappear folks. Not in one dramatic moment, but in procedural fine print, on a slow news day, while everyone's looking at Tehran.

@snipeder Check out $gru, the tech is the first of it's kind to allow you to spawn claude AI agents without needing to be at your computer. dev is also cracked and even Vitalik has used his past tech
IMO this is the most importantly subtle tweet in the whole $franklin saga today. I was initially pro community coin but now I’m of the opinion this is a Cold War between Bonk & https://t.co/qme3lBGAg2 and the community coin was the vamp all along.
Charles Payne is the premiere Fox Business analyst & host. If anyone knows what is going on behind the scenes it’s him. It’s no accident he retweets Treasury Sec Besset’s initial Franklin tweet. It’s distinctively MAGA, Franklin holding dollars is a quiet nod to the USD1 as the future powerhouse stablecoin.
$WLFI is backing Franklin and IMO they were planning a campaign to drip drip drip Franklins through federal gov. and slow build this thing but the quick launch of the PF-coin monkied up the operation.
It’s no coincidence all the bonk Franklins have been MAGA focused with red hats, avoiding looking too much like the book character, calling it Franklin the based turtle, it’s all forward thinking to avoid copyright issues and ensure exchange listings. Coinbase will NOT list a IP-heavy character like Franklin the Turtle.
Today the timeline is filled with Solana cabal mocking Bonk saying they dropped the ball, poking fun, etc. it’s all part of the plan to humiliate and destroy it for good. But like the Art of War says, appear weak when you’re actually strong. There is no way someone who represents Trump like Mello would be so meek and surrender the ball like that. Trump is a fighter, he’s ruthless. He’d fire the guy on the spot if he knew what he did unless it was intentional.
Franklin is not about guns, helmets and bombs like the community one. Nor is it about posting N-word memes, their dev is too immature and doesn’t understand business. It’s about building a mascot for MAGA, all intentionally curated with similar art and styles and avoiding any author names in the memes. They are showing they know what they’re doing and soon people will see. I would also be loading up other USD1 memes here because when this leads the charge, profits will flow into the ecosystem.
The team behind $FUZZY is surgical/flawless. It has to be big names that we know. It's getting all to obvious.
A lot of people gonna be hating themselves for fading $FUZZY. Especially at these levels.
Don't come crying when we said TOLD YA SO!
