It's a cool one today, hopefully we'll stay dry, but the leaves and mud are wet and slippery so take care when you're making your way around the course today

We've checked the course and the top will be blustery! A band of rain is expected between now and 11am so you may get wet. There are also lots of conkers etc... on the paths so be sensible. #JesmondDene #parkrun #parkrunuk

The team are monitoring the weather situation. Fingers crossed we'll be able to go ahead, but cancellations can lead to other events being inundated. We will decide at 8am tomorrow. We're trying to coordinate with other events in the area to avoid that. #parkrun #jesmonddene

While we're hoping not to have any rain before parkrun this Saturday, the paths will definitely be tricky for runners this weekend. Trail shoes are recommended as the downhills especially have some thick mud patches. More volunteers are definitely required! #jesmonddene #parkrun

All set up, still some mud on the downhill. Yes we had a new helper for set up today. Still no dogs during the event I'm afraid.
