He would leave all of that for the next GM.

He’s not a hockey guy, but he’s clearly involved in the direction of the team to a degree.

Regardless, not bashing the city and players will be more drawn there when the team is good.

I just don’t see why as a player I’d demand Minnesota over Montreal unless they simply can’t handle the pressure of the market.

I think there are teams that can beat a reported package of Zharovsky, D prospect (likely Engstrom or Pickford), and two 1sts.

That's if John Chayka even entertains serious trade talks.
