BREAKING: OMG! Trump goes full 1984 on the Reflecting Pool algae as his Interior Department releases fake images insisting that the water is "crystal clear" despite being nasty green.

We can see it Donald! We know you're lying!

"The advanced nanobubbler technology very effectively killed the algae that has plagued every Lincoln Reflecting Pool reopening—most infamously Obama's reopening—since 1922," the official U.S. Interior Press account wrote on X.

"The Reflecting Pool water is crystal clear, and our National Park Service team is now vacuuming up the dead algae resting on the bottom of some parts of the Reflecting Pool—just like the destroyed Iranian Navy resting on the bottom of the Persian Gulf," they continued.

It's worth pointing out that under previous, competent administrations it would have been unthinkable for a Department of the Executive Branch to engage in this kind of petty, partisan mudslinging through its official accounts. Trump cheapens everything.

"Previous administrations—most notably under Obama—failed to maintain the Reflecting Pool, and after refilling the pool, the water would quickly become murky and thick with massive clumps of algae floating on the surface," the account continued.

"As our National Park Service team noted, the Reflecting Pool is now so 'blue' that the Fake News Media, which has been staked out at the Reflecting Pool for weeks, has fled!" they concluded.

The Interior Department added photographs that depict the pool as clear blue — as if we can't all see the constant stream of photos and videos of the water being discolored and the blue paint literally peeling off due to the hydrogen peroxide they ignorantly poured in.

At the same time that the Trump administration was pumping out these lies and photos that were either doctored or outdated, an image went viral of a duck swimming in the thick, green, striated water.

The best part about this worsening fiasco is that it's an entirely self-inflicted wound. Trump was the one that made a big deal out of renovating the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. He's the one who wasted $13 million of our taxes on this project, boasting that he would succeed where Barack Obama supposedly failed. Now, the problem is getting worse by the day in the most on-the-nose metaphor imaginable for Trump's inability to do anything right.

But of course, this man can never admit that he has failed or botched something, so instead of conceding that they can't remove the algae, they're just going to pretend that its gone, secure in the knowledge that gullible MAGA supporters will believe it.

In the words of George Orwell: “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."

BREAKING: HOLY SMOKES! Senator Jon Ossoff is absolutely CRUSHING his MAGA opponent in fundraising with $60 million compared to just $4.9 million.

And it gets so much better....

��It’s a real severe uphill battle,” one Republican operative told POLITICO.

As of May 27, Ossoff had raised $60 million with $32 million left on hand. His opponent Mike Collins had raised $4.9 million with $1.2 million left in the bank.

Ossoff is currently running for reelection in Georgia on a campaign of hope, competence, and opposition to Trump's corrupt agenda. According to CNN's polling wizard Harry Enten, Ossoff has an 82% chance of winning based on current prediction markets.

"He is the first Democrat to be a clear favorite for a Senate race in a generation," said Enten.

There are two powerful forces at work here.

First and foremost, Georgians are pleased with Ossoff's performance in the Senate. He has been a tireless advocate for their interests and a powerful bulwark against the worst abuses of this White House.

Secondly, the Republican Party brand has never been more toxic. Donald Trump is the worst President in American history by every single metric. He destroyed the economy, started another costly, pointless foreign war, and continues to actively cover up his role in Jeffrey Epstein's crimes. The only people who have fared well during this second term are his family members, his cronies, and the already-wealthy.

Ossoff is surging so far ahead of his opponent Mike Collins that it triggered an outburst from Trump earlier this morning—

"So happy for highly respected Congressman Mike Collins," the President wrote on Truth Social. "He will win his Senate Race in Georgia against a pathetic failed Dumocrat Senator, Os(jerk!)off, who is a joke in D.C. Nobody even knows who he is!!! I’ll be doing Big TRUMP Rallies for Mike in Georgia! President DJT"

As far as political nicknames go, this is some of Trump's worst work to date. The demented old man has clearly lost his fastball at a time when he can scarcely afford it. If Ossoff holds his seats, Democrats' odds of taking back the Senate skyrocket.

Ossoff is such an inspiring candidate in fact, that there is already chatter in the party that he could one day one for President.
