Updated my “I’ve read these” door…revised 3 of them to inform students why they are no longer in their library. Also provided a QR code to the Brooklyn Public Library where they can find ebook versions and read them for free. 💕 #VoluntaryInquiry#FReadom
.@PhilMurphyNJ The Legislature passed it unanimously. Education advocates strongly support it. It’s time to sign the bill to #EliminateEdTPA in NJ. Ending edTPA is a common-sense approach to addressing the teacher shortage. This law will benefit NJ's students and schools!
@MooreofMsMartin We are told to present engaging relevant content that is diverse and modified for student needs. Why are they not expected to provide the same?
@Franklin_Graham This is the kind of manipulative bating we, as Christians (followers of Jesus Christ, not the American Church), need to teach others to recognize and see for the disgusting rot it is.
I read a post on FB-it made me think. How does group therapy work? Could we do small sessions of it in school with kids? How? and would it help our students? Also, I think the teachers could benefit from their own sessions. Maybe during PLC? #mentalhealth#school#education#PLC
Hey! I enjoy using YouVersion, and I think you will, too. You can study God’s Word, read and watch daily devotionals, pray with friends, and more! Get it here: https://t.co/bYPrjKAE8b
@JeremyDBond Debates are such a great tool for this. Staring with information that is part of the curriculum but doesn’t mean much to students personally so they learn how w/o too much emotionally vested to learn the how, expectations and post debate process b4 moving to more sensitive topics
5. As a middle school teacher, most of the time I don’t hide much of the emotion. MSers are already emotional creatures, my job is to help them express and process them in ways that are healthy for them and those around them. I show my emotions then demonstrate those skills #nt2t
@JeremyDBond@shyj For sure. It taught more about them, my parents (dad) specifically she was his mom, and what I learned from them. It made it easier to unlearn the unhealthy, and keep the good money management skills at the same time. And helped me be more thankful for all of it.
A3. My grandmother told me about her life as a child after the stock market crash of 1929. It helped me understand the tendencies to be stingy with money and things in her and my gf, how they passed that on to the next, and how it lost power with each generation #nt2t
