How is this acceptable from @WestMidRailway - the 7:37, 8:22 & 8:31 services to Birmingham New Street are all cancelled due to a “shortage of train crew”
As a result, I’ve now got to go from Telford - pay more for the train ticket and pay for parking - double my commuting costs
@ShaunDaviesMP This needs to happen quickly!! It’s affecting residents all over the borough with an extremely poor service to the rest of the West Midlands
@ShaunDaviesMP@transport_wales@WestMidRailway This kind of thing was also done when Lucy Allen was in office - what commitments can you give residents that it won’t just fall in to a black hole of nothing in the future. We need action on the train lines and for the managing companies to be held accountable
@tfwrail@WestMidRailway@ShaunDaviesMP@TelfordWrekin when are you going to do something about the absolutely atrocious “service” (not) provided by @tfwrail - how can they be allowed to announce at 8pm that no trains will run the following day… how does a train company have a shortage of trains???
@WestMidRailway Again - missing the point - what’s the time you’re planning to do this???
And let’s be real here - it’s not like there’s a raging torrent of water over flowing places… it’s mainly the station in Wellington, so you could stand on the platform and decide that
@WestMidRailway I understand that - but surely you know what time you’re inspecting the tracks and providing an update - people need to commute and if your inspection isn’t until 9am could make alternative arrangements if they know the times
@lizslayed People need to think about the flip side of this - which is, if it become unsustainable for landlords to have rentals - then the properties get sold… if that happens, where will people who rent and can’t afford to buy just yet live?
