I don’t know MF but I’ve met CC and she is every bit as kind as you’d expect. It’s heartbreaking seeing both retraumatized in real time. Black women’s conflict isn’t spectacle. This deserves care, not consumption. Black women in this sport deserve space to process complex issues.

I’m all for feminism and women breaking boundaries but I think I y’all are reading too much into this. She’s never had a break from gymnastics, and she’s been through A LOT in her career. Maybe she just wants to be a mom for awhile, while they still support the razorbacks 🫶🏻
