James 1:5
"If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking."

Big choices, hard conversations, and crossroads in life can leave anyone confused. The good news is you don't have to figure it all out alone. God isn't annoyed when you come to Him with questions. He doesn't roll His eyes or make you feel silly for asking. He's generous, and He loves to help. So before you stress yourself out, stop and ask Him. Then listen and trust that He'll guide you, one step at a time.

Psalm 37:4
"Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires."

We spend so much time chasing the things we want. The better job, the right person, the dream we've been praying about for years. But something beautiful happens when you start enjoying God Himself, not just what He can give you. Your heart starts to change. The things you want start lining up with what He wants for you. And He loves to bless a heart that loves Him. So spend some time with Him today, just because. Talk to Him, thank Him, enjoy Him. He's not holding out on you. He's preparing something good.

Romans 15:13
"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."

Hope isn't something you have to squeeze out of yourself on a hard day. It comes from God, and He has plenty of it. When you trust Him, He starts filling you up with joy and peace, a little at a time, until it spills over. That's when people around you start noticing something different about you. You smile a little easier, you worry a little less, and you keep going when others give up. So if your tank feels empty today, don't try to fill it on your own. Go to the source. He'll fill you until you overflow.

Micah 7:8
"Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light."

Falling down isn't the end of your story. Maybe you made a mistake you can't stop thinking about, or life knocked you flat when you didn't see it coming. Some people might even be watching to see if you stay down. You won't. With God, a fall is just the place where you start getting back up. Even if it feels dark right now, He is your light, and He'll show you the next step. So get up, dust yourself off, and keep going.

I appreciate the heart behind this—grace is not a license to sin. Romans 6:1–2 is clear: we must not continue in sin so that grace may abound.

True grace doesn’t excuse ongoing disobedience; it transforms us. Titus 2:11–12 says the grace of God that brings salvation teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and to live soberly, righteously, and godly.

We are saved by grace through faith, not by our works (Ephesians 2:8–9), yet genuine faith produces a changed life (James 2:17; 2 Corinthians 5:17). Believers still stumble and need God’s forgiveness (1 John 1:8–9), but deliberate, unrepentant sin that we justify with “I’m under grace” shows a misunderstanding of both grace and salvation.

Yes, we should gently correct that with Scripture (Galatians 6:1), pointing people back to the grace that both forgives and empowers holiness. Grace is the power to say no to sin, not the permission to stay in it.

1 Peter 5:7
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you."

You've been carrying that worry around for a while now. You wake up with it, you take it to work, and you lie awake with it at night. But you were never supposed to hold it this long. God isn't tired of hearing about it, and He isn't too busy for you. He actually cares about every little thing that's weighing on your heart. So say it to Him plainly, just like you'd tell a close friend. Then open your hands and let it go. He'll take good care of what you give Him, and He'll take good care of you.

Psalm 27:1
"The LORD is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?"

Fear has a way of talking loudly. It tells you everything that could go wrong and makes the problem look bigger than it really is. But fear doesn't get the last word. When God is your light, the dark corners lose their power. When He's your fortress, you have a safe place to stand no matter what's coming at you. So the next time fear starts shouting, ask it the same question David asked: why should I be afraid? You have every reason to stand firm today, because God is on your side.

Isaiah 54:10
"For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken," says the LORD, who has mercy on you.

Think about how solid a mountain is. It's been standing for thousands of years, and it isn't going anywhere. Now picture it moving, and God's love for you still standing. That's how steady He is. People can change their minds about you, and things you counted on can fall apart. His love doesn't come and go with your good days and bad days. You are loved today, tomorrow, and always.

Philippians 1:6
"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."

Be patient with yourself today. You might feel like you should be further along by now, or like you keep messing up the same things. But growing takes time, and God isn't in a rush with you. He started something good in your life, and He doesn't leave His work half done. Every little step still counts, even the ones nobody else sees. You're not finished yet, and that's actually good news.

Exodus 14:14
"The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm."

Some battles were never yours to fight alone. Maybe it's a problem at work, a family fight, or someone saying things about you that aren't true. You don't have to win it all by yourself today. God sees what you're up against, and He is stepping in for you. Your part is to stay calm and keep trusting Him. Let go of the need to have every answer right now. He's got this, and He's got you.

Psalm 118:24
"This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it."

Today is a gift, not just another day to get through. You woke up, you're breathing, and God is still good. It doesn't have to be a perfect day for you to find something to smile about. Look for the little things, like a warm cup of coffee, a kind text, or a moment of quiet. Say thank you for each one. Joy grows when you choose to notice it. So choose it today.

Well, it’s official. I’ve lost my original X account, @TestimonyOfMike .

Despite repeatedly asking @X
to reset the verification process, I’ve now been told my only option is to start again.

But do you know what bothers me most? It’s not losing the followers or the posts. It’s losing the people.

I made some wonderful connections on that account, shared my Christian faith, heard incredible testimonies and built genuine friendships. Sadly, I can’t seem to find many of those people again.

So, a word of warning to everyone: PLEASE be careful when someone sends you a link asking you to vote for them, support a competition or verify something. Even if it appears to come from someone you trust, don’t click without checking independently.

I learned that lesson the hard way.

If we connected through @TestimonyOfMike , please reach out. I’d genuinely love to reconnect.

An account can be lost, but the friendships, encouragement and faith we shared meant far more than any number of followers.

God bless you all. 🙏
