I’ll open an app that needs a login and the Passwords bar just isn’t there above the keyboard. No 1Password.

Open 1Password, force quit the app I was trying to log into, reopen it… and boom, the bar’s back.

Grok 4.7 is out.

Bigger model. Better at checking its work. 500k context. Already in Cursor, Grok Build, and the API.

xAI also said they trained it to understand the Grok Bot harness natively.

Which makes me wonder… is Grok Bot already running 4.7?

Product page still says 4.6. No announcement. A few weeks ago bots briefly tried calling what looked like a 4.7 model id, then got rolled back.

Anybody noticing a real difference today, or still feels like 4.6?

Built a Grok bot to get my info off people-search and data-broker sites.

First wave worked: TruePeopleSearch, FastPeopleSearch, PeopleFinders, plus a pile of smaller ones. Forms, emails, follow-ups. It even keeps a tracker so we know what each site actually wants and when it’s done.

Also: incomplete. LocateFamily rate-limits removals so I still have to hit those myself. CAPTCHAs!!!! still need a human. A few sites are dead, bouncing, or just pending.

Success so far is real. Clean slate is not. That’s the useful part of running agents on messy web chores.
