LOOK at the rare capture of a descending vortex breakdown bubble in this Iowa #tornado yesterday!

Similar to how tornadoes typically form, the tornado dissipation process is also usually a top-down evolution. The descending vortex breakdown bubble starts near the top of the dynamic pipe as a pocket of lower pressure, descending air.

When tornadoes form, the dynamic pipe of lower pressure air drills toward the surface and condenses. Multiple this by -1 and you have a descending vortex breakdown bubble, or reverse dynamic pipe.
