@MissusRidley @eastlalatina@TickingTurtle Last reply, & I’m off due the incredible name calling and rudeness by some fans. All I did was state the obvious. Frame by frame proves it was intentional. He never throws at the plate, just Garcia. It’s there for all to see. And, no I’m not a jerk. I’m actually a very nice guy.
Honestly going to have to delete X due to some of the most closed minded, rude fans from Houston. It’s fans like you that make people hate your team, not the team itself. You never talk until you have a lead, and then it’s all rude trash. You should self examine, and be ashamed.
@MissusRidley @noquarter89 @TickingTurtle I agree Garcia escalated it, and caused more problems. I have an open mind, and can admit when my team was wrong. Why can’t some Astros fans just be cool, and do the same? No deficit is too big for you guys, you should know that. It was a purpose pitch, not an errant one.
@eastlalatina@TickingTurtle I’m not stupid, and don’t be a jerk. You guys act like a 2 run lead is insurmountable. You hit great in Arlington, it’s like batting practice. No lead is safe, except maybe 10 runs. Video evidence proves it was intentional. Don’t be a jerk fan. Just own it.
@noquarter89 @TickingTurtle I’m not crying man, just stating the obvious. I’m not Astors hater, you guys are a great team. But, it’s fans like you that make things worse. No need to be a jerk, when someone is stating an obvious fact. Have a great day.
@SpareBricks@TickingTurtle Your what we call closed minded. I’ve played ball my whole life. Go back and watch the video, frame by frame. His release point/ arm slot proves it. I was also a pitcher. You cannot hide when you’re trying to hit someone. You throw different. End of story.
@michaelschwab13@CC2590 You’re a funny jokester. As a Rangers fan, I know how crappy of a pitcher he is, and don’t know why he made the ALCS roster. You should be happy he didn’t hit every Astros hitter he faced.🤣He has 0 confidence in his stuff, and has no clue where it’s going. Can he switch unis G6
@frankismyfriend@BenRogers Yes I do. But Jonah should also know what to call. A pitcher shouldn’t have to shake his call off on a PH .165 bench cold 9 hole hitter. I love Jonah, but he knows better. If that was a Maddux call, Jonah still should have called fastballs.
@buddysmith05@AstrosFansUK Both teams should have been warned. I’m a Rangers fan, and agree Leclerc’s pitch was an intentional brush back, and could have warranted ejection. But, even if Dubon hadn’t moved, it wouldn’t have hit him. Only way it would have is if Dubon had leaned into it.
@AstrosFansUK I’m a Rangers fan, and I DO NOT hate the Astros. Your team is great. But…. It was intentional, situation doesn’t matter. Go back and watch frame by frame. His release point/arm angle prove it was intentional. You can’t hide when you’re throwing at someone unfortunately.
@SanAntonioTim I’m a Rangers fan, and I don’t hate the Astros. I dislike the fact that my team can’t seem to get them out of their head, but that’s on us. We weren’t even supposed to be here yet, but we are, and there are no excuses. We need to be better. Astros have a great team&great pitching
@MLBONFOX Just go back and watch his release point and arm angle on the pitch. It’s obvious. You can’t hide those things when you’re trying to hit someone on purpose. That wasn’t an “errant” pitch. It was a message pitch.
@afc_than @MLBONFOX Do yourself a favor, and don’t be one of “those” fans. Go back and watch the replay, with an open mind. It was 100x out of 100, intentional. His release point on the pitch proves it. That the one thing you can’t hide.
@Terry71647211@TickingTurtle You physically cannot move out of the way of a 99 mph fastball thrown at you, unless your a mutant. It’s not humanly possible. Come on, be better.
@Jeff19637379@michaelschwab13 Go back and watch the replay. There is 0 chance the ball hits any part of Dubons body, even if he stays in. Garcia had no chance of getting out of the way of the pitch that hit him. Was Leclerc’s intentional, yes. But, Dubon sold it, it wasn’t going to hit him 100x out of 100.
@Casey_Pruitt81@jake_harrington@te6192@JaredSandler Massive gut punch. And yes, the mound visit was part of it. I just have a hard time believing Maddux would tell Jonah and Leclerc hey let’s be careful here and throw all offspeed to the .165 pinch hitting 9 hole hitter. Let’s take our chances with Altuve. Doesn’t make any sense
@Casey_Pruitt81@jake_harrington@te6192@JaredSandler Ok. We have to agree to disagree. The first pitch Jonah called was a sinker, why?? It’s a PH, hitting .165. You attack the dude with fast balls, and set up down the middle. He’s the 9 hole hitter, and JA on deck. You don’t get cute, you attack. Call the proper pitch
