Ebenezer Babatope wrote an article some years ago that shook me.
I was about ten years old when I read it.
He said he was at a church service with very illustrious people who are members of the Catholic Church.
It was time for communion and he noticed that only some women stood up to take communion.
Most of the men didn’t and many of the younger women didn’t.
He said it baffled him so much that he told his father what he saw and asked him why it was so.
He said his father told him that most of the men have side chicks, second families, children outside wedlock, second wives and other arrangements which the church frown at and which automatically disqualifies them from taking the communion.
This was 1988
Since then I had been privileged to work with several churches and I have made friends from every denomination there is within the Church of Christ.
In every church, EVERY!
There are all sorts of sexual activities going on that the church officially frowns on but which some member or the other engage in.
You liking it or playing the holier than thou card will never change this.
Your wife may be the one sleeping with your driver and it could be you sleeping with the housemaid
Just know that when it comes to sexual activities among adults a lot go on that nobody can define or know.
And I insist that this is within the church.
Your church is not exempted
From Anglican to Celestial to CAC to RCCG To Zionist churches
Sex is a global language and the church speaks it in all its shades.
Any preacher who thinks he or she has the anointing to stop people from expressing their sexuality to their satisfaction in this life is wasting his or her time.
John the Baptist tried and it cost him his head.
Horizontal issues like marriage, relationship and sexual behavior are best left on the table of morality where they belong.
Sex, marriage and human relationships are not spiritual
They are not done in heaven, therefore they belong solely in the domain of mankind.
Jesus did not come to regulate behavior
He came that we may have life and have it more abundantly
So a wise preacher will stay with the message of salvation and how to get people to live the supernatural life that we have in Christ.
Thank you
I don't have a problem with the flying Tesla but my own is that why can't it fly straight? Must it tumbulu in the sky first before going to the ground ni?
He was 41 years old 🇳🇬 🕊️
Grew up and performed Fuji music before converting to Christianity.
His wife strongly supported his switch from Fuji to gospel ministry and he called her his backbone
He credited comedian Woli Arole with his big break in 2021 after Arole shared one of his songs online.
He said he had written more than 150 songs that were still unreleased 💔
He and his wife got married in 2021 and celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in September 2026.
They had two children, their second child (daughter Irorun) was born in October 2024.
He marked Irorun's second birthday on 8 October 2026, just six days before he died, writing "My joy is two years today"
In January 2025 he announced that he had become a homeowner.
In a 2025 interview he revealed that women (including older ones) had offered him millions of naira to date them, and that he always told his wife about such advances. 🤍
He and his band survived a serious accident in July 2026 when a fully loaded trailer nearly crushed their bus while returning from a ministration.
He was based in Ibadan and reportedly hailed from Osun State.
He led Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry (TOGOMM) and blended energetic Yoruba praise with contemporary gospel.
The night before he died he performed at Bidemi Olaoba's "In His Presence" worship programme in Ibadan.
His personal assistant said he showed no signs of illness and was perfectly fine before he suddenly slumped the next morning.

You see, while we mourn his death and feel the sting in our hearts, we shouldn't forget that if he were to be here with us, he would want us to sing and sing and sing praises, because he lived a life of divine impact through music and soulful worship.
I want you to take solace in his songs. To worship with him, as you listen to his songs.
So that your heart might be full and sadness won't have a place to dwell
.
.
.
Toluwanisings is gone physically. But his songs will live through time. And millions more of people will be soothed and healed by his songs.
His children will grow up to know that their daddy really did touch millions of lives and brought thousands more to the peace and calm that true worship gives.
Grief is something that no one prepares for, but that which we can take solace in, especially knowing the impact that the person has had in our lives.
.
.
If you are reading this right now, and you are currently grieving someone, then I implore you to dwell in the memories of that person, not because you can't move on, but because of the closure that comes with knowing they have at certain points, made life meaningful and worthy to you.
.
.
Be glad that you knew of them and you can tell of their tales to younger generations coming in front.
At the end of it all, may we also be responsible for someone's hope, peace and smile. May we be the reason that they believe in hope and joy.
So that when we also leave this world, someone somewhere will think of us, and thank the day they ever knew us.
.
.
May the soul of Toluwanisings and the people we've lost, continue to rest in perfect peace.
.
.
7 hearts and Doves to honour our dear people that we've lost

Thank you very much for reading and have a fulfilled life ahead 👋🏾

Because accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour is like buying an iPhone. We must subscribe to White Man's dress code; otherwise, we will be denied access to church. We must subscribe to the white man's music; otherwise, we can't sing.
Jesus himself never wore a suit, but cultural imperialism wouldn't allow people to think straight.
I sent the "Men Dey" movie to a friend who is a marriage counsellor in the UK. He replied with this phrase "Calcified Dissonance". I had to ask ChatGPT what that meant.
If Pastor Bolaji is being blamed for not teaching his congregation properly, please visit churches where these things are taught regularly during midweek and Sunday services. Then speak to adult members of those churches about the same topic. You may be surprised to hear the same reasoning expressed in that clip.
This goes beyond Pastor Bolaji, his church or any denomination. It is widespread, and the churches are hardly the only places where these attitudes exist.
A pastor can devote years to teaching, counselling, correcting misconceptions and explaining the same principles repeatedly. None of that guarantees that every adult listening will understand, accept or practise what is taught. At some point, the responsibility for what a person believes, says and does must rest with that person.
How long are we going to hold pastors responsible for the reasoning of adults who have parents, personal experiences and minds of their own?
These attitudes are widespread and deeply entrenched. Blaming one pastor will neither explain them nor address them.
This scooping fuel thing that Nigerians have been doing since I was a child baffles me.
I was at Iroko village in 1999 when a tanker had an accident, and the entire village woke up at 4 a.m., scurrying for kegs to go and scoop fuel.
It is not poverty that makes them do it
It is that spirit that seeks to profit off another person's loss
It has led to the death of many, and yet others will do it tomorrow
@pastorbolaji Men dey but Shiloh full. Okay na🫢. He that has hear Oooo....... This generation of girls don't wanna build with men anymore and they've tainted the dating pool for Us!
MEN DEY!!!
Let me put this in context.
During yesterday’s teaching on expectations in relationships, we discussed what a 26-year-old woman should reasonably expect from a man at a similar stage of life.
We talked about expectations such as owning a car, having an iPhone, or receiving a monthly allowance of ₦1 million.
In the course of the conversation, a lady made a comment, and I asked her twice to repeat what she had said. The congregation echoed her response so I could hear her clearly.
This does not mean every woman in the church shares that mindset.
That moment is being interpreted in ways that miss the context of the conversation.
The point was simple: there is a difference between having standards and having expectations that may not be realistic for the stage of life you and your potential partner are in.
This was never about telling women not to have standards. It was about understanding that expectations should also be grounded in reality.
You can watch the full message on YouTube at Harvesters TV for the complete context.
As soon as he said, "You can make payment into this account", and the account number I saw was different from the name of the company, I said, "No".
He then made matters worse by saying, "You can also send it to one of our guys in Nigeria who will convert it to crypto and send it to us"
I said, "Au revoir"
I have been on these streets for more than three days

Felt the strong urge to share this song here, after Hallelujah Challenge Day 6.
An experience that will stay with me for a long time!

A consumer should not have to gamble with their health every time they go shopping. Fake, counterfeit, adulterated and substandard products have no place in a responsible marketplace.
Our warning is clear: anyone involved in the production, manufacture, distribution or sale of counterfeit and unsafe products should desist. ODCCPA will investigate credible allegations and pursue appropriate action where violations are established, in accordance with the law.
You cannot win. The moment her attraction to you reduces to zero, she will turn that entire discourse into a sexual harassment allegation forgetting that she initiated the nonsense.
