🔔 Ring the Bell 🔔 Duarte (R) will advance in #SD4, joining Brandon (D) in the general election. Today’s updates were enough to push Duarte over the line against Alvarado-Gil. Eye popping results in Stanislaus County where Duarte is now 15k votes up on Alvarado-Gil, which exceeds Duarte’s 11k margin district wide. Of note as well is Brandon (D) now exceeds 40% of the vote share.

Republican James Gallagher is heading to the U.S. House to fill the remainder of the CA District 1 term left by Doug LaMalfa.

LaMalfa was Gallagher’s mentor who suddenly passed away earlier this year.

Today we honor the life and service of fallen Police Officer Harminder Grewal, who passed away while in the line of duty.  In his honor, we have spent three years working on legislation to rename a section of Highway 99 near Galt as the Officer Grewal Memorial Highway.

Hasan Piker’s remarks about Vietnamese refugees are deeply offensive and cannot go unanswered.

Those who have chosen to campaign alongside him, and anyone on the political left who has remained silent, are enabling this kind of rhetoric. They have a responsibility to speak out and make clear that it is unacceptable. Here in Little Saigon, I will not stay silent when my community is targeted. We expect better from those who seek to represent and engage with our community.
