This obsession with saying “it’s the EAST” or “THE EAST IS WEAK” is so dumb. If the east is so weak why has no one else been able to dominate the way LeBron did? I mean, theoretically the Celtics have the capability right? Why is no one else consistently dominating?? Isn’t Giannis over there??
MS as a whole has always been a “3rd party publisher”. Your tone is framing this in a negative light when, in reality, publishing on other platforms has always been a staple of their business model. Not debating or arguing just stating a fact.
For their XBOX sector, however, the question is, do you really want XBOX to carve its “own identity”? Seems impossible when the outcry from the masses is begging for them to fall in line with Nintendo and PS’s way of doing things.
I understand the point of focusing on the XBOX brand, it’s a crucial and valid point, but I think the feedback as a whole is a bit hypocritical. XBOX isn’t being allowed to carve its own identity because they are hard pressed to revert to the traditional way of competition in the gaming space (sell consoles, have exclusives).
The reality is, XBOX cannot compete traditionally. At least not fully. After acquiring Zenimax and ABK, they put themselves in a position to always publish on other platforms besides their own. They could bring back some form of exclusivity by not publishing XBGS titles on other platforms, but as I stated, it would be impossible for them to return to full exclusivity or first party publishing after those acquisitions. So yes, they are a 3rd party publisher but that statement is an oversimplification without the proper context. There is no other publisher in their position and the gaming community needs to understand that.
@Tys0nisfat@LakeShowYo What exactly does the “NBA” stand to gain from rigging games for OKC? I genuinely want to know lol I would understand a bigger market team, but OKC? Shai? Why them lol
@damnbykdot@HaterReport@nyc_prophet You’re right and I’m not gonna argue that. I don’t mind either player foul baiting tbh. Yea it might be a hard watch but if the defense is going to play undisciplined, why not expose them?
I don’t mind either one tbh that’s why I don’t complain at all. Wemby at 7’5 is gonna get a ton of foul calls but he’s also gonna get fouled a ton and the refs will miss it. Same with Shai who is crafty and shifty. Many times the foul will be apparent and other times it won’t. Great players will always figure out how to impact the game even when they’re off. Thats why the MVP race came down to Shai and Wemby.
@Hoopss@BallTalkO And yet Wemby was trending in the same direction if he wasn’t playing like pure garbage. He had 20 points on 4 made baskets. Shut up and go for a walk.
@KahliefAdams@woelfel I’m sorry but he’s right. It doesn’t compare. Cavs had a massive collapse and that made the Knicks comeback look super special. OKC and Spurs were throwing haymakers and knock out blows. It really doesn’t compare.
@ClutchPoints@MikeAScotto Well, respectfully, that’s why you lost a 22 point lead and game 1. So yea, go ahead and keep trusting him on defense. Might as well roll out the red carpet and send the Knicks to the finals now.
@ClutchPoints Problem with Stephen A is that he doesn’t keep his takes about basketball. Keep what you say between the lines. He’s always taking personal shots at players.
I understand the point being made about Harden disappearing in key playoff moments, but at what point in time have we ever had such great expectations of players past their prime? Not an excuse, I’m genuinely wondering 🤔
"Your [Hall of Fame] status is on the verge of being revoked... you shrink? You scared to shoot? ... Everybody's watching!"
Stephen A. Smith while addressing James Harden's playoff struggles 😬
