George Washington once borrowed The Law of Nations from the New York Society Library and never returned it. In 2010, the library’s head librarian joked that they weren’t planning to pursue overdue fines—but would still appreciate getting the book back. About a month later, it was returned by the Mount Vernon estate, 221 years late.

@RetroCompShack Hey Ian! I have one of your wonderful cables for my Spectrum +2 (gray), and all I am getting is a black screen (with audio) out of my HDMI converter box. I fear this box is the one you now say doesn't work anymore. What can I do now?
These children were killed by Russia – by its war. Boys and girls whose lives were cut short by Russian strikes and shelling, by hostilities that Ukraine never wanted for even a second – but from which we have been forced to defend ourselves for years already.
It is on June 4 that we honor the memory of all such children. Today, we still do not know the exact number of those killed, as we have no access to the temporarily occupied territories. It is yet to be determined how many adults and children killed by Russia are buried in mass graves near Mariupol and other cities and villages destroyed by Russia.
The world must neither forget nor forgive Russia for this terrible pain and aggression – this totally unprovoked and criminal Russian war against Ukraine.
In memory of every child killed, in memory of every human life destroyed, there must be real global solidarity – from all across Europe, all across the the U.S., and all other parts of the world – so that Russia is held accountable for its actions and is forced to return the peace it stole from Ukraine and Ukrainians.

Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk delivered a report regarding today’s operation. An absolutely brilliant result. A result achieved solely by Ukraine. One year, six months, and nine days from the start of planning to effective execution. Our most long-range operation. Our people involved in preparing the operation were withdrawn from Russian territory in time. I thanked General Maliuk for this success of Ukraine. I instructed the Security Service of Ukraine to inform the public about the details and results of the operation that can be disclosed. Of course, not everything can be revealed at this moment, but these are Ukrainian actions that will undoubtedly be in history books. Ukraine is defending itself, and rightly so – we are doing everything to make Russia feel the need to end this war. Russia started this war, Russia must end it. Glory to Ukraine!
Today, a brilliant operation was carried out — on enemy territory, targeting only military objectives, specifically the equipment used to strike Ukraine. Russia suffered significant losses — entirely justified and deserved.
