He is small, furry, and named after the battalion itself. Talion the squirrel fell out of a tree hollow as a baby, right beside the unit's positions. Senior Sergeant Roman, call sign "Kepka," saved him from the dogs and decided to raise him by hand.
The soldiers fed him special milk formula and gave him the unit's name. Before long, the squirrel was the favorite not just of his rescuer but of the entire personnel, and something like the battalion's staff psychologist.
The man behind the rescue has been at war since 2022. Roman joined the Armed Forces as a volunteer, served in a reconnaissance unit, and fought in Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts.
He remembers the fierce battles for Bohdanivka and the defense of positions near Starytsia, where he suffered a concussion in a heavy assault and went through treatment.
When he returned to service, he found his new small companion, and the companion found his job.
"When you pick him up, you simply forget about everything. He jumps, plays, bites, and at least for a few minutes, your thoughts leave the war," Roman says.
Talion has fully adapted to army life. He travels with the troops, has been to the training range, and reacts with total calm to gunfire and the roar of equipment.
He loves nuts, strawberries, cherries, and cookies, and tries to taste anything that ends up in his paws. According to Roman, the squirrel has become a genuine anti-stress remedy for the whole battalion.
The new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, seen here in 2014 crashing his column through a barricade put up by Russian separatists in Mariupol.
The death toll from a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 3, with 13 others injured‼️
Russian glide bombs kille a 67-year-old woman and two men, aged 49 and 62.
The video, from 2014, shows people in Donbas openly telling a journalist that the Ukrainian army is not shooting at them – that it is the DNR, essentially Russian-appointed puppets, who have been shelling the cities.
Show it to anyone who continues to spread russian propaganda that “Ukrainians were bombing Donbas for eight years.”
MAGA, this is why your media ecosystem has invested so much time and money into destroying her image. Because she’s actually for the people. And the rich that are controlling us despise her for it.
He just can’t help himself when it comes to lying, it’s in his DNA. He’s done it all his life. To his wives, the banks who loaned him money, the people who invested in his scams, the IRS and the fools who bought his scam Trump coins. Now it’s the turn of the American people.
Tell me a promise he’s kept other than mass deportation which is the biggest self inflicted economic wound in history.

This video speaks volumes abut us Ukrainians. It was filmed in Lukianivka district in Kyiv that is under Russian attacks often.
Just a few hours after last night's Russian strike, the market and people there resumed working.
My heart breaks from what our people have to live through and from our resilience (although I don't like this word).
How I long for peace, finally, and our regular life. Without attacks and Russia.
russian occupation is not peace.
This is Yanina Akulova, a 38-year-old massage therapist from occupied Melitopol.
russians kidnapped, tortured, and forced her to confess to a terrorist attack that never happened. Then they sentenced her to 9 years in prison.
She wrote to her mother:
"They beat me so badly that I no longer cared what happened to me. My whole body was covered in bruises."
Her only "crime" was loving Ukraine.
She evacuated her daughters because she refused to let them attend russian schools. Then she returned home to rescue her pets.
At a russian checkpoint, occupiers claimed they had "found explosives" in her car. She disappeared for two months.
When she finally appeared on russian TV, she was wearing a mask — likely to hide the signs of torture.
She has lost 15 kg in captivity. Her asthma has worsened. Her children have spent nearly four years without their mother.
This is what russian occupation really means.
Don't ever call it "peace."
Don't look away.
Don't stay silent.
Share Yanina's story. Demand freedom for every Ukrainian civilian imprisoned by russia.
🚨#BREAKING: Two boys on paddle-boards are being praised as heroes after heartwarming footage emerged of them RESCUING A DROWNING RACCOON during the Texas storms.
The two boys, Tucker and Owen saw the raccoon being sucked under by the current, scooped it out of the water, saving it's life.
The animal crawled underneath Tucker's legs, hiding from the rain and the storm.
They paddled him all the way to shore through the storm and let him go.
Absolutely awesome!!!!!! ❤️
Abdul El-Sayed: “There are communities in Michigan where the median income is $14K. Those schools look like they did 50 years ago. There are barely functional clinics. How dare we advocate for sending our money to a foreign government to annihilate other people when we could be using our money to save lives in those communities”
