Editors avoid cartoons comparing Trump to the Nazis because of the furor that they cause. So, the editors at The Gazette declined to publish this armband cartoon Instead, I gave them this safe sketch on the threat of Canadian western separation for Saturday's paper. Please share!
This amazing rooftop picture of The Ward from Bay Street around 1910 came up in my old saved images.
I wrote about it and another view from University Avenue a few years ago. If I could go back I'd redo the graphics, but I thought it was a fun idea!

I am in utter disbelief that Russia is blocking the largest WWII soldier database for the former USSR. There haven’t been any problems in the past 10 years since I found the website. I am scared what else I will lose access to Russia. I am grateful what I can access now.
