Drawing an art study for February’s dashboard in my Hobonichi cousin. This month I copied a Russian fairytale illustration by Vyacheslav Nazaruk. I found the cousin really hard to keep up with as a planner so I’ve now switched to have it be a daily sketchbook and I’m loving it!
@SaraAlfageeh I draw comics and illustrations with this mechanical pencil. Not only is it light, but it’s great to hold and the twist erase easer is a GREAT ERASER. I go through so many eraser but I bought them in bulk and easily replace them into pencil. 10/10⭐️

I’ve posted this raw comic page on Patreon! It’s page 11, almost the halfway-point of chapter 2. I’m so excited to finish this chapter because it’ll be the end of “setting” everything up.

Just posted a finished comic page, including its timelapse of how I edited it, on my Patreon https://t.co/EhILCm5U3l. This page had a ton of medieval backgrounds so it was a lot of fun to draw and edit. Accessible for just $1 a month 🥰
@jeffsimpsonkh I don’t think it matters right now where we go from here platform-wise, our work is going to be scraped. Going private/pay wall will be more common u fortunately. Not until these plstforms take a legal stand against scraping or the generators face lawsuits is our art safe
Generally:
Artists don’t dislike AI art because it’s “not real art” etc.
Artists dislike AI art because the programs are “trained” unethically using databases of art belonging to artists who have not given their consent.
This is not about gatekeeping. This is about theft.
