➤As part of the Government’s continued focus on institutionalising Swachhata and improving efficiency in Government functioning, the Department of Health & Family Welfare (DoHFW), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has been undertaking comprehensive cleanliness, record management and pendency reduction initiatives across its offices and institutions since 2021

➤As part of these efforts, significant progress has been made in cleanliness, record management, grievance redressal, and space management

➤During the period from November 2025 to August 2026, DoHFW reviewed 65,329 files, of which 27,531 files were weeded out

➤The Preparatory Phase of #SpecialCampaign6 commenced on September 15, 2026 and will continue till September 30, 2026

➤During this phase, DoHFW will identify pendency under the identified parameters, mobilise ground-level functionaries, finalise sites for cleanliness campaigns, review records, undertake space management planning and identify scrap material for disposal
