Guitars and Growlers Richardson Thursday night! No crows this time since they're not in the 12 Days of Christmas.

@avghistoryteach The older I get, the more I'm not bothered by waiting on the break because that means I can actually maybe get things done. It's been 3 or 4 years since I put a countdown on my board.
Is it a thing for people to impulsively apply the brakes on desk and chair wheels/casters? I have a rolly desk that I like to keep unbraked and constantly find it braked and I'm pretty sure it's not just kids messing with me.
We're on after the parade downtown tomorrow! Should be a fun time!

Tweeted that reading thing because I finally finished the Andrew Jackson biography that took me probably 2 weeks longer to read than it should have.
Also, my perspective on Jackson has shifted some. Imagine reading a book and learning new things! Crazy!
If I could snap my fingers and change anything about myself, it would be my reading speed (with full comprehension of course). I'm not sure there's a close second.
Instead of telling kids not to play video games, adults should play too.
Compared to kids who don’t play, those who play 3 hrs/day have better working memory & impulse control. Experiments show cognitive benefits for adults too.
Video games are a form of exercise for the brain.
@carrifex I envy people who use podcasts as a means for intellectual enrichment. I use them to mindlessly listen to people talk about video games or make jokes to and from work.
