The REALLY COOL thing about that is that if #DarkMatter really is invisible it’s also untouchable. Invisible means “doesn’t interact with electromagnetism” & when you touch something, it’s electromagnetic repulsion between you & it that makes it feel solid https://t.co/ofM7fhif8W

@apschuyler Good thing they never put me on the national baseball beat. I would have been a real rebel writing about the autumn meetings and winter training.
CONGRATULATIONS to Emily Brewster @eabrewster on her promotion to Senior Editor and Editorial Ambassador at @MerriamWebster!

Twitter is it's own bubble, but it's a bigger bubble than the DC cocktail party circuit, and I find it pretty enjoyable when people from that scene (or NYC equivalent) are forced to reckon with it and can't handle an environment where their social status doesn't buy them respect.

@notlarrysabato Ah, didn't know they finally made it somewhat convenient to get there by bus. Still will take a lot of convincing for me not to think of it as a surburban monstrosity.
@MikeAlphaOne @AstroKatie Also, please note that the guy who claimed he didn't have time to read the article somehow found time to tweet/retweet at least a dozen times today.
@MikeAlphaOne @AstroKatie Please, Dude, for the sake of your own reputation and to avoid wasting our time, never never never again comment on an article that you haven't read.
