At least in the Netherlands input is required (iirc) from family and friends in case of mental issues.

@jabberworks That's a good point. The rules MUST be clear and thorough and MUST be met. If they are not, postpone the vote until they are (if ever). All in my humble opinion.

@philipreeve1 @jabberworks I can see you disagree, and that fine. My view on this is that SHE requested this and after more than 3 years of tests, the law agreed with her request. Now she can die with dignity, with friends and family, instead of suicide.
