@nikaries @covie_93 New York City one of the strictest cities in our country when it comes to obtaining guns. I lived in New York City for 2 years and I know that with a couple hundred bucks and about 20 to 30 minutes anyone can obtain an illegal gun. Criminals armed, good guys are not!!!

@nikaries @covie_93 Yes Australia did do it in 96, and started closely tracking all metrics when it came to gun violence. Gun violence rates stayed almost the same over the next couple years and then started to rise a little. Gun suicides Stayed almost the same. 1996 = 3mil guns Now = 4mil. Sooooo?
