Nonprofit workers have long been asked to “take one for the cause” and accept below-market compensation. Jon Pratt of @Grant_Advisor and @SmartNonprofits on why this must change: https://t.co/qVd5U1aTY8 @smartgivers@JHUCCSS
We are indebted to our long-time and valued colleagues, @MeganHaddock4 and @stefantoepler for their dedication to bringing one of Dr. Salamon's final works to fruition.
#OnlineFirst Dr. Lester M. Salamon sadly died in 2021 before he could revise his article on the history and scope of the decades-long effort to institutionalize the collection and reporting of data on the third sector into national statistical systems. [1|4]
The outcomes of the @JHUCCSS work reflect the collective perspectives of so many research partners. Les' contribution was to find the common core and set our course forward. He wanted this @VoluntasJournal article to inspire action. Take these tools and use & improve them! [1/2]
