As much as i’m sick of the Watson discourse given it was a pretty inconsequential set shot in a cakewalk win - Razor on 360 giving a very detailed explanation on why it wasnt play on, after the AFL ticked it off, really does highlight how ridiculous the league we all follow is.
So the media are all good at spreading rumours and sprouting opinions about players, coaches and teams ALL THE TIME, but as soon as the same treatment is aimed at one of them, they don't like it ...well yeah duh!
"To Tom Morris and Kane Cornes who put that out there – that is factually incorrect."
Matthew Lloyd's strong response to suggestions he is part of a push to return James Hird as coach of Essendon.

The League says there was no breach of the interchange rules in the final seconds of Collingwood's draw with Hawthorn in round eight.
https://t.co/6mDfgFrzIX
"By the book, at this very moment a 50m penalty and an opposition free kick should have been paid (to Collingwood)... which means that Collingwood would have won by six points."
🗣️ Xander McGuire on an unpaid interchange infringement as Dylan Moore was lining up for goal against Collingwood
How many minutes do we need to watch what's happening off field whilst the game is on @FOXFOOTY
Your camera direction is horrendous! We want to watch the game, not a guy having his calf rubbed or the back of a dr's head.
Police respond to a domestic violence situation every two minutes in this country.
This is why “joking” about violence against women is not funny. Ever.
It normalises VAW and provides cover for men who think violence is acceptable.

✍️ Hawthorn’s 🎢 Fixture:
In the last few weeks we have seen the Hawks with very low tackle numbers and struggling to 🏃 out games. Whilst injuries to key players recently haven’t helped, there may be another reason for the Hawks recent form slump- a 🎢 fixture
⬇️ is a breakdown of the 2026 fixture up until the run home.
Opening Round in Sydney against GWS
A early bye in Round 3
A 19-day break into Easter Monday against Geelong after a early bye 🤦♂️
6 games in 31 days 😱 between Round 4-Round 9 at 5 different grounds.
The ⬆️ would definitely have had an effect on recent performances. Training during the week would be effected, whilst players would be struggling to get up for and run out games.
It doesn’t get easier after the bye with Gold Coast away, GWS and Melbourne to come.
By Round 18, the Hawks will have played only 1 x team in the bottom 4, Essendon in Round 1.
The fixture does open up late in the season, but will it be too late with the Hawks having to chase wins to push for a top 4 finish?
If the Hawks do finish in the top 4 this season, it certainly will be well earned!
@HawksInsiders
Using violence to anyone as a punchline for a 'joke' is already bad enough. Using it to suggest you could beat up women is beyond disturbing and disgusting.
This app/place should be a safe place for everyone but it continues not to be because of horrible comments like this.
@HawkMan131415 Agree with all except Ryan. Bodie is one of the few who can hold his head high today. This has to be the line in the sand for Huss, Rams, Morr, Finn ...they've been given chances and are not it.
This game is slightly more tolerable now we've muted the Fox commentary. Dunstall openly supports the other team every single time. And don't tell me he's trying to be non biased, this is way more than that. He actually gets happy when we lose.
@WizardEnjoyer5 6 games in 31 days as well (3 interstate), no other team has done that this season
On top of that 4 of those matches against top 8 teams
No need to panic - an extra midfielder would be handy though
