Did some post game cage action today. Had some trouble at the plate today so I did some drills that would help me and did some front toss. Gonna be hungry for tommorows game. Let’s get to work. GO HORNS!!!
From someone who coached an NAIA collegiate team that was expanding our program with a “development team”, the sole purpose was for the administration to try and generate revenue through tuition. They wanted us to force a false narrative under the disguise of “development”. I wouldn’t do it, no way. The kid is making the correct choice.
@outstndnbrandon Ur right and wrong, but what the undisclosed portion is the tip out by the contracted guys. Yes, most bullpen guys make 75-100K BUT are compensated by each player individually (sometimes throughout the year and sometimes upfront).
I know active guys that are making 500k easy

Since when is it ever acceptable to allow your baseball/softball team (at any level) walk out on to the field in between innings? This is an absolute epidemic. The majority of teams we play REFUSE to show any effort. Who’s coaching this? Get control
This field. This field was where I learned what it took to be a professional. This is the field where I fell in love with “the work”. Forever grateful for SMC Baseball and everything this program taught me. Great to see it again & take a trip down memory lane!! @OldCoachTW11
@xanbarksdale Scenario: you try to stand up but guy across aisle gets up first to establish dominance. Are you putting him back down or are you staying seated? Lol
@xanbarksdale 11U. I’m very vocal about parents being present at practice. I think it’s important that when the kids go home, the parents are speaking our same language/vernacular. Also answers questions for “why is he playing/hitting there?”. Get the parents involved!
