Congrats to @kentschools_fa alumni Abdul 👏

[The Talent Hunter 🎯 @TalentHunter]

Newcastle United have signed U15 defender Abdulmalik Bamgbola from Watford.👀✍️

Bamgbola spent the past three seasons in Watford’s academy, where he attracted the interest of Newcastle.🔍

The young centre-back will initially join up with Newcastle’s U15 age group.✅

Another top signing for Newcastle’s academy.🤩👏

The Howard School in Rainham says it is "bursting with pride" as one of its former pupils Luis Binks has been called up to Scotland's national football team.

Tony Mowbray is a great of football. An individual who has overcome great personal loss and oozes compassion.

School county FAs. I have proposed the introduction of an inter county national competition for u15 Boys. Would your county enter?

[James Hopper @JHopperKSFA]

@kentschools_fa Oh and it would also help if the inspectorate looked at the quality of teaching of Phyiscal Eduaction in primaries in a more forensic manner, rather than checking how the money (!🤯) is spent.

[James Hopper @JHopperKSFA]

@kentschools_fa Ultimately if the government was serious about positive changes, every primary school would need a funded, specialist ‘PE teacher/team’ and a local network to foster a love of participation, competition and lifelong physical activity.

[James Hopper @JHopperKSFA]

@SCSFA_football Catching up after a busy week and a dart charge fine to remind me!
Huge thank you to everyone at @SCSFA_football for their hospitality. Fully deserved on the day - well done to Ben and the squad. Thanks to Ruth/Rob for organising. Top people.

[James Hopper @JHopperKSFA]

@kentschools_fa Sadly fewer schools know how to spend the £ in the best way and there is little advice or guidance or support in this process which for primaries can be a daunting task.

[James Hopper @JHopperKSFA]

@kentschools_fa Unfortunately many state primary after-school clubs have used the pay to play model for the last few years, especially post pandemic, as schools can choose how to use their sports premium.

Bukayo Saka got 4 A*s and 3 As in his GCSEs in 2018.

“He always put education first and epitomised what we think a lifelong learner is. Having a thirst for personal development is crucial for us.

“He has made himself a better player because he’s a better person, a better student. And he will continue to go on that journey, he’s not someone to think ‘this is me done.’” @mertesacker

“It would have been nice to see him do a degree and a very hard degree, he was that level.” @DeasunO

Amazing to see 2 @kentschools_fa alumni represented in the EFL league 2 young player of the season nominations. Both were part of the u14 squad that won the south east England competition and reached the national final.
