@TronCarterNLU TC. Let there be no doubt, this is an attempted coup. Ghouls trying to take the beautiful game from the people. It’s all we have. You and Randy MUST monitor the situation
EXCLUSIVE: Fifa's president Gianni Infantino is planning to sell stakes in the World Cup to private investors under a scheme that could potentially earn him tens of millions of pounds.
Investor discussions held with figures close to the Trump administration, say sources.

Let me say this very directly.
Football does not belong to investors. It belongs to the people who fill the stands and who stand on the touchline week in, week out, rain or shine.
The World Cup is not a product. It is the greatest competition in world sport, and it was never anyone's to sell. Dress the deal up however you like. Once you have sold a piece of it, you have sold out.
Football belongs to the fans. It always has, and it always will.
@TronCarterNLU TC - this Whitney guy is a force of nature. Absolutely no idea who he is, I live in Birmingham (long known as UK’s second city) You and Big need to monitor the Southampton spygate soccer scandal. Incredible espionage carried out from behind a tree
It’s a fundamentally flawed concept. Introducing an extra level of subjectivity. The game of football obviously needs new leaders and new writers by the look of things.
VAR has to be quicker. It can’t be as forensic & time-consuming as this. Four-minute delay, can’t be clear and obvious, both holding. VAR here to stay - age of technology - but VAR-free FA Cup had games flowing and fans loving it. 90-sec limit on decision-making please #NEWMCI
@brucemillington@mrjakehumphrey Not quite related to your post, but Monk training on this week’s Sweet Spot is peak Palmer. How you and Dave ever kept a straight face is beyond me. Hope you’re well, Bruce
