I hope that @sfgiants legend Jeremy Affeldt might have a talk with these pitchers. Affeldt was traded to the Giants as a young Christian conservative. Whenever he visited the city before that, he was afraid to leave his hotel room because of his trepidation about the LGBTQ culture in SF and "SF Values."
But the city transformed him.
“I see more San Francisco as a city of love and a city of passion and compassion. It’s unbelievable this city. To see that and to have my heart change as a city I didn’t ever want to come to, to a city that I’m so thankful I’m going to be part of for a long time, it talks about that. For me, it was an awesome deal.”
"He also credits a gay Starbucks employee for revealing his bias to him, recalling how the man’s casual interactions with Affeldt’s family showed him that there is “no difference, none” between gay people and straight people."
Affeldt created an organization to fight human trafficking during his years in San Francisco.

If your faith only becomes visible when other people are being celebrated, don't be surprised when people question your motives.
Anyways. Thanks for giving up 5 runs.
If I were Buster Posey, I’d be all over Ryan Weiss — DFA’d today by the Astros.
The results have not been pretty in a starter/bulk role (23% K, 15% BB, 7.62 ERA), but he’d immediately slot into a massive position of need as a high-stuff RH reliever.
Four-seam is strong at 95 mph (17/6) from a slightly flat, horizontal angle out of his 6’4” frame. Needs more emphasis over the plate and towards the top of the zone. 86% spin eff. allows great feel for breaking spin.
Weiss throws a sick 84 mph sweeper with 16 inches of horizontal movement, but he’s not in-zone nearly enough. Same story for an 89 mph kick-changeup with elite separation from the fastball.
In my opinion, Weiss is easily worth a flyer on waivers given the current state of the bullpen. Let the stuff eat in-zone over the plate in one inning stints, and find a tighter, bridge breaking ball.
