I had the opportunity to meet HYDRAA Commissioner Shri Ranganath Garu and convey our heartfelt gratitude for initiating the rejuvenation works at Ibrahimbagh Lake. This has been a long-standing dream of the people of Neknampur Division 128 for over a decade, and it is truly encouraging to see this vision finally becoming a reality.

During the meeting, I also informed him that, with the support of the CMC, we have already commenced drainage diversion works for Neknampur Lake—an essential first step towards restoring the lake’s health and preventing further pollution.

I requested the Commissioner to take up comprehensive lake cleaning, restoration, and rejuvenation works for Neknampur Lake. He responded very positively and assured me that he would discuss the matter with CMC Commissioner Smt. Srijana Garu and initiate the necessary approval process at the earliest.

The revival of our lakes is crucial for groundwater recharge, environmental sustainability, and improving the quality of life in our communities. I remain committed to pursuing these issues and working closely with all concerned departments to ensure that our lakes receive the attention they deserve.

I was accompanied by my party colleagues and ex councillors Kiran, Lakshmi Narayana , Purushotham and Haji
