The Journal of Income Distribution is one of the oldest inequality journals. It focuses on the measurement, the causes, and the consequences of inequalities.
JID published a Special (double) Issue in honor of esteemed economist Peter Lambert, Vol. 32, Nos 3-4: Sept.-Dec. 2023. It was presented festively to Professor Lambert at the University of Oregon this winter. Some contributions are now Open Access (as per authors' means)!
Guest Editors Luke Petach & Steven Pressman are preparing a Special Issue of the JID dedicated to Piketty’s contribution to economic ideas with reference to the soundness of his theory and the merits of his proposed income disparity policy. See https://t.co/vsa4wlBRm2
For those unaware of the recent #JID Special Issue launch and for anyone interested in the work of Professor #NanakKakwani, find here the link to the video capture of the presentations, including Professor Kakwani's gracious reply.
