@TuckerGray1@MstrOfThUnivrse This is it, they will go to different military institutions after this race. So yes this is a once in a lifetime race event
@tadnuggets@bobpockrass I mean CART who was known for this really never did one and done events, always had multiple dates same with Indycar. I think 2-3 is the perfect sweet spot, but has to be rotated to succeed
@tadnuggets@bobpockrass Oh I agree to what you are staring, but what races in any motorsports have been a one and done.
The only one that is recently was 25 years ago with RFK stadium. Most are 2-3 year events and I think two is perfect if it means more cool events like this elsewhere in the future.
@DMPicone@A_S12@NASCARSanDiego@SBJ@GettyImages It’s a stop-gap and multi year deal to race at different bases around the country, so a Colorado or PNW is very very possible.
Could be interesting to see what bases they will select next.
@tadnuggets@bobpockrass Not really here, if you read the deal, they could really be the first of any sport to go to different major military bases around the USA maybe the world through the DoD
@AirspeedParker@champwebdotnet Closer to 3.2 tv and .3 in person which you can break down a ton more. But ROI, definitely for in person was higher due to $1,000,000+ of merch just in one day.
@Hokies2022@VT4L_Joe Basically getting traded at the deadline from a struggling team to a legit Super Bowl contender. Like going from the Raiders to the Bills.
@Jacobdean1342@NASCAR@NASCARSanDiego It’s worth it, and it’s gonna improve each time. Also something noted is don’t be suprised we see a Colorado or PNW at a military base. Cause they mention to race at more facilities in the future
@paupercellyo@AaronParnas Tbh, it probably took up the same footprint a nfl game with tailgating and other stuff would too. So that’s probably a huge benefit tbh.
@JoJoDogface7@AaronParnas@grok For example streets where blocked off for people to walk and saw tons of people at the pub in turn 1 and in hotels and federal buildings around the track
