My next monthly MP salary donation is going to Phoenix Karate Schools who have many young local athletes competing at a high standard. This donation will support the entry fee for Great Yarmouth athletes to attend the European World Championships being held in Sheffield, whilst also helping parents/families with travel costs. It will give the local club a financial boost.

These sports are great for youngsters, and I'm pleased to see we have such talent in Great Yarmouth who compete at such a high standard.

The old boys at Bishops are asking the school something quite reasonable:

"What is the school's policy on flying "cause" flags?

When you fly a "cause" flag, you are automatically causing a divide within the school that doesn't need to exist. It's an unnecessary distraction. Case in point, look at all the media coverage this has caused, the divide between old boys and even the pupils at the school.

Also, there are literally thousands of flags for various causes around the world. Who will now decide which cause flag to hoist, and will future cause flags divide the school even further?

I have to add that expecting a school founded on Anglican beliefs and principles that still practices those beliefs to this day and sees it as a cornerstone of their school, to fly the pride flag is like expecting a vegetarian restaurant to sell a double bacon cheese burger, and if they don't, you accuse them of being bigots.

People like @Anton_Taylor want attention at all costs, and if that means burning the house down to get it, they will do it. It's not about the cause for him; it's about the followers, the likes, the exposure.

I will attach the letter the Old Boys wrote to the school. Please tell me if you can find the homophobia in the letter or even between the lines.

Amazon's Leo satellite service is launching in South Africa.

They have 400 satellites and their system is still in beta.

Starlink has 11000 satellites and has been fully operational for half a decade but remains blocked by the South African government, it seems for political reasons and because they refused to offer a bribe.

I think some serious questions need to be asked about this arrangement.
