BREAKING: The NBA is discussing penalizing intentional fouls to stop fast breaks by giving the other team a free throw and retaining possession of the ball, reports @ShamsCharania.
Thoughts?
And just behind Jrue I would put Butler and Kawhi. I love the efforts of players like Alvarado, Smart and company, but in the playoffs the other players turn up the intensity and it's not just a frenetic pace that makes you the best defender.
Jrue is the best perimeter defender in the league. He has the physical condition and intensity of a madman like Smart. But his defensive IQ is at a much higher level than that type of player (Smart, Bev...)
