The trouble with the caring professions who tell you they have the fullest confidence in their staff even when they make mistakes is that when you as a recipient have lost confidence because of those mistakes you feel at their mercy without redress #whenstaffcandonowrong

Oh yeah, the piece-de-resistance which I forgot about until he asked, is for a taxi driver to ask directions - not the best route, but actual directions to the destination which if I didn't know, I wouldn't know 😁

Pet hates about [current] taxi driver
-Conversing on phone
-Referring to roads by numbers rather than names
-Leaving windows open without asking
-Hurtling down road, round bends so I can barely type!!
-Not saying sorry when emergency stopped
-Taking the long way

Nothing like being ignored and treated like a non-person for 30+ mins by someone who said they'd come and speak to you once she'd finished what she was doing. She didn't look through me mind but to the left then to the right of me and never spoke to me again #aande #mkhospital

I'm starting to believe walk-in a&e is utterly useless. You wait for hours after being triaged, that is if the 'triager' considers you worthy, they give you a throwaway diagnosis which is rubbished the following week when you need to call 999 and a&e treat you seriously

When a hospital doctor advises you against visiting a&e where you run the risk of being admitted and picking up a ward borne infection thereby developing something really serious!!!! 🙄😷 #seriously! #shesaidit #dangeroustimes #sufferinsilence
