@PigsGroundsCrew I used to turn the clay bags inside out then wrap the tamp with them. With there being no “print” on the inside, I found the clay was less likely to stick…
PPC and DryJect proved to be a cost effective solution to help with spongy conditions on playing surfaces at Redlands Country Club in Southern, CA.
It helped improve uniformity of water distribution in their soil to create firmer playing conditions.

From baseball to golf….turf tires on a bunker rake to drag in sand on the greens. 8lbs. in the tires, nice wide turns, great to use after a top dressing. Just like dragging the skin! #golfcourse@StotzEquipment@Cody_JDGlfStotz@SD_GCSA
@WillColeRSTurf When I was in baseball, I had these show up on my infield and outfield where heavy traffic existed.Had @DryJectSW come in and do some apps of Field & Fairway over the course of 2 seasons. By the 3rd season those spots didn’t show again. @DryJect@Turfaceproducts Good luck.
@ECoastTurf@will_dryject 100% agree. Our course has 18 push up greens and 9 USGA spec greens. DryJect is the way to go. Course originally built in 60’s and the newer 9 in 90’s. Things have greatly improved with the seasonal DryJect apps.
@TyeBubble2@DryJectSW@DryJect Yes we did. 1/4” hollow tines. Went about 1 1/2” down to attack organic issue going on in the top. Then while DryJect was there I asked them to cap the holes just a little. Once sand dried mid day we used that cap sand to drag around and top dress.
CLEAN @DryJect 3x2” with straight #20 sand over 1/4” cores at Temecula Creek Inn, Oaks… couple tons of sand injected into the beautiful new Meadows wedding lawn too! #PlayabilityMatters
@leahlou2 The years I spent in baseball and now in golf, we are on our own. But for the most part I buy enough for the guys out of my own pocket. I don’t expense it. Most of the crew choose to use their own preference of products.
@PhilpottJoey@nsherry2 Happened to me once after watering the skin pre game. After that game I installed an isolation ball valve. Previous head guy didn’t have anything there. The dash to center field to shut things down was like the parking lot scene in National Lampoons Vacation
“So you worked in baseball….oh good, you know how to mend netting then. The range netting needs help” 🤦🏻♂️. What is learned is never forgotten. Thank god for off seasons and BP screens and cages. Hahaha #jobsecurity#golf#MILB
