I actually think it might be a good thing they have had these powers for a while but could only use them on certain individuals.

It’s all the sneaky ones that slip under the radar are the real problem.

Detain me whenever they like if I’ve done something wrong then I deserve what I get.

During the last set of estimates Senator Babet asked ASIO on my behalf to provide evidence about their claims of Iranian involvement in attacks on Jewish Synagogues. He also asked if they investigated any Australians in regards to covering up the origins of Covid.

They refused to provide any evidence and failed to investigate Edward Holmes who we know worked with Anthony Fauci to cover up the origins of Covid.

Our Intelligence Agencies consistently fail the Australian people. They regularly undermine both our national and individual safety and freedoms.

We know they lied about weapons of mass destruction in a Iraq, they lied about who funds terror organisations such as ISIS, they lied about the Dural Caravan, they lied about the origins of Covid and of course they failed to stop the Bondi bombings despite numerous ref flags.

They are deceptive and incompetent yet tomorrow it seems our politicians are going to give these agencies even more powers to detain individuals without charge overriding long standing legal traditions that protect fundamental human rights.

ASIO will be able to compel you to turn up and answer questions. Refuse to answer, and it’s 5 years jail. Tell anyone it’s happening, and it’s 5 years jail.

Given Intelligence Agencies have a track record in lying, deception and incompetence they should should not be given any additional powers.

Like the politicians who are going to vote for this bill they should never be trusted.
