@MIAA033 Congrats for sure, but shouldn't CM play other private schools who also recruit and reclass? At a minimum, with these significant advantages shouldn't CM play in Division 1?
@MIAA033 why do public schools compete against private schools? Top 3 seeded D1 football teams as well as top seeded D2 football team are private with players from multiple towns. Feehan field hockey pulls from 8 towns and soccer pulls from 13 towns AND FROM RI! How is this fair?
@MIAA033 can you comment on the fairness of how public schools Needham and Wellesley are forced to play their state championships lacrosse games against private schools St John's Prep and Central Catholic, both of whom recruit from multiple towns and can reclass players?
@wellesleysports I’ll keep asking this until I’m 90 years old, why do public schools play private schools who recruit and red shirt? BC High is probably amazing and I wish them well, but they should play Nobles, Rivers, etc. not a town team. Please convince me why this is fair.
@MIAA033@FeehanAthletics Congrats to Feehan. This comment is not directed at the players or their accomplishments. Well done! MIAA—please explain why a private school with varsity players from at least 6 different towns (some in Rhode Island?) can compete with public school teams that pull from ONE town.
