Totally agree with everything in utility theory...but as we discuss AI as an existential threat (which it clearly is, only question is timing and what to do about it), could AI make centralized control realistic? I am puking at the thought, but Hayek makes the point that we cannot perceive all the variables in the theory of centralized control...but we are entering a phase where perhaps all the variables CAN be perceived, by greater than human thought/capacity?
