I said it once, and I’ll say it again. Should not have been out there in the first place, BUT, Albernaz should have benched him. Immediately! You are fighting for your playoff lives and he goes out there into right field without glasses. No excuse. JJ Hardy would go out for an evening game at Shortstop with his flip down sunglasses until the sun was no longer a factor.

@jcalvinmeyer Albernaz doesn’t have control. He should have benched Hines and brought in Cowser for Center and move Traveras to right. Who’s running the ship? Sometimes you have to leave the analytics out of the lineup…

I’m probably gonna get shredded for saying this but here it goes anyway. After the last week of baseball, I suggest the Orioles let Gunner walk. The left side of your infield next year is CES, Mayo, Alexander, Westburg. Someone will overpay for his services and as usual, he will be spectacular in a new organization, but I think we have seen enough of his errors, helmet/bat slams in disgust and we have more than capable replacements on offense and defense to fill the left side of the infield. By the way, PLEASE sign Rodgers to a contract extension.

Can’t believe it either, but several questions that maybe somebody can answer..
1. As soon as the runner kicked the ball at first base after the misplay is it a dead ball?
2. The runner coming home on the final play would he have been considered out of the base path?
3. Why wouldn’t Basallo go to first base? Isn’t that the obvious play with two outs?

As the manager, I thought he would be livid after the ball was kicked halfway down the right field line and then arguing the base path issue on the last play after our Gunner Henderson debacle
